Janette was born May 15, 1904 in Elkhart, Texas. She was baptized in the Swedish Lutheran Church on November 13, 1904 by her grandfather, Reverend Peter Wedin. Later in life she became a member of the Baptist Church. She married Bryant Keathley (July 16, 1894) of Dallas, Texas on November 16, 1926. They lived in Dallas, Texas all of their married life with no children. Bryant died April 23, 1969 and is buried at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas. Jimmie died on July 7, 1981 and is buried at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas.
